Andrew Jackson

I am a newcomer to the industry after taking the leap to leave my engineering job in April 2023 but I can say wholeheartedly that it has been one of the best decisions that I have ever made. I have entered into a wonderful sector dealing with nice product and more importantly nice people!

This decision to leave work was not blind however as my father, Paul has been in the business for over 20 years and has been instrumental in helping me start this fantastic and exciting journey. I have already gained invaluable experience in my first year and a half into the workings of the business and am really enjoying the journey.

I purposely represent a wide range of designers, manufacturers and distributors to allow my customers as much choice as I possibly can. I am based in Bangor, Co Down in the North-East corner of Northern Ireland and cover (with some of my brands) all the way down to Co Cork and Kerry. You will find the breakdown of what brands I represent in each county listed in the brands section. When I am not “on the road” you will normally find me attempting to play rugby at my beloved club Bangor RFC where I have been a member for nearly 20 years! Despite this, I am always available to talk and take a phone call from my customers if anyone has any issues or queries.

Long -term Business Relationships

With all of my customers, I want to establish a long-term working relationship to help them stock good quality, well priced products as well as maximising sales. I believe there is always an opportunity to build a relationship that works for both parties for years to come.

Availability

I like to make myself contactable to all my customers as much as possible by phone or e-mail. This includes evenings and weekends. I am also more than willing to travel to you with samples, pricelists and any other information you require

Advice

Having worked at trade shows as well as with many retailers in lots of different sectors, I am now able to offer honest advice on product, merchandising and how to display the products most effectively.

New Products

As an agent, I am always on the lookout for new brands as well as the all-important ‘next big thing’. I love the challenge of taking on a new brand and the ability to offer my customers something new has always excited me.
